  What is Cardyak?
Cardyak is a website that allows you to openly communicate with your friends about video games.

  Who made Cardyak?
Liam Clark - Founder, creator, programmer, all around technophile.

Kevin Clark - Systems support, hardware managment, server overlord, general badassery.

  How does adding a friend work?
You can add people as a friend, and other people can add you as a friend. You can add someone as a friend by finding their profile and clicking the "Add as a friend" button.

A users friends are only the people they have added, not people who have added them.

  How do I message people?
You can message people by clicking on the message button on their profile.

To access your inbox, click on your profile and then click on the "Messages" button. From here you can continue current conversations with your friends by clicking on their name; or initiate new conversations by clicking on the "New Message" button.

It is worth remembering that it is only possible to message your friends.

  How do I find people on Cardyak?
Click on the search button on the banner at the top of the screen, and then filter your search by username, first name, or surname from the drop-down box.

You can also peform a quick search by utilizing the box on the right hand side of your profile page.

  What about my privacy?
You can edit your privacy settings by clicking on your profile in the top right corner, and then clicking on the edit button. Your privacy can be set to three different options:

1. Public - Viewable to any member of Cardyak
2. Friends - Viewable only to people YOU have added, not who have added you.
3. No one - Viewable only to you, and hidden from everyone else.

It is worth remembering that your username and real name are always public, regardless of privacy settings.

  I'm having trouble logging in. How do I access my account?

  How do I change my password?
You can change your password by clicking on your name in the top right corner to access your profile, then clicking the edit button, and then the "Change Password" button. Or, take a shortcut - here
